Got the full picture now, Boss. Here's what I found comparing the docs to reality:
Storage Doc Accuracy Audit
✅ rpool — mostly correct
- Doc says 888G, actual SIZE = 888G — spot on.
- ALLOC 226G, FREE 662G — healthy, matches the doc's ballpark.
- The container table looks reasonable (would need a fresh
lvsto verify individual containers, but pool-level numbers check out).
✅ data pool — correct
- Doc says 18.2T total, 11.2T used (61%) — exact match with
zpool list. - Disk list (5× TEAM T2534TB, all ONLINE) — matches
zpool status. - Migration note is current.
❌ rustpool — outdated in both docs
| Field | Doc says | Actual | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Size | 1.58T | 2.45T | 🔴 wrong |
| Used | 212G | 317G | 🔴 wrong |
| Available | 1.38T | 2.14T | 🔴 wrong |
| Disks | 3× ST900MM0006 SAS | 3× SAS (SCSI IDs) | ✅ type correct |
This is wrong in both the Storage Layout doc and the pve1 overview doc.
❌ pve1 overview — data pool row also stale
The pve1 doc still shows the pre-migration numbers: 14.4T / 8.84T / 5.56T. The actual is 18.2T / 11.2T / 6.97T after the TeamGroup disk swap completed on 2026-07-17.
Summary: Two docs need patches — the rustpool size triple is stale in both places, and the data pool row in the pve1 overview missed the post-migration update. Want me to fix all four?
